About Me… Honestly I don’t want to sit here telling you all about me…..I want to know ALL ABOUT YOU. Let’s be real though, you want to know why you should be working with me and more so who am I because let’s face it, who wants to make their dreams come true with a stranger! RIGHT?!
My love for travel really started when I was 16. I wanted so desperately to go on one of the High School Europe Trips. I BEGGED, it was hard work trying to convince my parents, finally though my Dad talked my Mom into being on board and then it happened. I landed in Italy and it was in that moment I knew I got BIT…Bit by that darn Travel Bug. By the time I was on my flight home after seeing Italy, France and Spain I knew I wanted to put my foot on as much of this map as possible.
So how did I become a Travel Designer happen you may ask, well that’s a pretty funny story. I’m not traditional and I wasn’t ready to leave High School and embark on another 4 years or more sitting in a classroom. To say my Mother was not really happy about this is an understatement. Fast forward I was grabbing the mail on my way in from School and I saw a postcard for a Travel Business School 16 weeks and the light bulb went on. I can do anything for a short period of time AND this will totally get my mom off my back. Next thing I knew, 2 weeks after graduation I was packed up and on my way to travel school. I realized in those 16 weeks what I really wanted to do as much as I wanted to see the world, I wanted to help people put as much of their footprints on this world too. And POOF this Travel Designer was born.
And now for the BIG question I get asked all the time, where did I think up the name L3 Vacations? And this is where my Dad steps in. YES I love my family and it is a big part of all I do. Some of the best moments of my life were long conversations with my Dad. He was disabled when I was young and a Grateful Recovering Alcoholic for 25 years before God decided he needed him more. He used to tell me to find something I LOVED to do, and don’t believe the people who tell you if you love what you do you’ll never work a day in your life. He told me I would probably work harder than most and at the end of the day I would still Live the Life I Love.
So when it came time to create this all, I wanted something that was built on Faith, A Firm Foundation of Love, Vision and Dreams and Integrity and I could think of nothing more fitting than L3 ( Live the Life you Love 😉 ) And that is exactly what I want to do for you!
